Kevin Cunningham is a Managing Director with KPMG LLP who specializes in all aspects of U.S. multinational tax planning, with an emphasis on structuring private equity transactions. He has written and published over 15 peer-reviewed articles, including many relating to private equity. Most recently, he published an article in Tax Notes International titled “Controlled Foreign Corporations as Collateral After TCJA.” Immediately before that, Kevin co-authored an article, in Tax Notes Federal, titled “Saving Private Equity: Avoiding Phantom Inversions.” Cunningham has an LLM from Georgetown University and a JD from the University of Virginia.
