Matt LaPorta is a Managing Partner at True Up Capital, where he advises clients on M&A, capital raising, and strategic transactions. A former professional athlete, Matt was drafted seventh overall in the 2007 MLB Draft and later represented Team USA at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, earning a bronze medal. He has led and supported nine- and ten-figure transactions, bringing discipline, precision, and leadership to complex deals. Matt is a graduate of the University of Florida and the Kellogg School of Management.
