Patrick F. Hamner has served since 2012 as a Managing Director (and currently Senior Adviser) with Patriot Capital Funds III and IV, a Baltimore-based SBIC investing junior capital in lower middle market companies. Hamner previously served for 24 years with Capital Southwest Corporation, a Dallas-based SBIC. While at CSWC, he was the founding Chairman of Heelys, Inc. and joined the management team from 2006-2008, serving last as its SVP. He co-founded Valesco Commerce Street Capital. Hamner was appointed an adjunct lecturer at the Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business in 2012 and continues to teach in its MBA programs. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering (cum laude) from SMU and an MBA (Dean’s Award) from the University of Texas at Austin.
