Matt Cole is a Co-Founder and Managing Director at SBJ Capital, a private investment firm with approximately $600 million of capital under management. In his role, Cole leads business development, is a member of SBJ’s Investment Committee, and shares responsibility for management of the firm. His SBJ portfolio company experience includes Armor Express, Troy Lee Designs, and Dennis School Uniform. Prior to joining SBJ, Cole worked at Spanos Capital Group, and in corporate development at NetApp and Solidus Networks, where he managed debt and equity financings, strategic planning, post-merger integration, and FP&A. He began his career as an Investment Banker at Deutsche Bank in the U.S. and London. He graduated with a B.S. in business administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
