Ed Barone is a seasoned wealth manager, with over 23 years’ experience in wealth management. The last 12 years, he has focused on business exit planning for privately held businesses and institutional asset management. In October 2023, Barone earned the distinguished award “Excellence in Exit Planning” from the International Exit Panning Association. Barone previously held the position of VP, Senior Client Advisor for Wilmington Trust, where he led a team of wealth and fiduciary professionals who provided institutional asset management and business exit planning/wealth management for privately held business owners. Barone is a Pennsylvania College of Technology Alumni with an associate degree in hospitality management and a culinary arts certificate. Prior to changing careers in 2000, he worked in Washington, D.C. for the Marriott and ARAMARK corporations for 12 years as Executive Chef and Food Beverage Director, managing $10+ million plus businesses.
