Active AM&AA members will receive access to book meetings beginning Monday, June 17.
General admission attendees will receive access to book meetings beginning Monday, June 24.

Only attendees who opt into sharing profile data will appear in the attendee directory and can receive meeting requests.

TWO MEETING TYPES

1:1 NETWORKING

General networking meetings can be requested by all conference participants. Multiple meeting times will be available between Wednesday, January 31 and Thursday, February 1.

Deal Connect is the capstone networking event where deals get done! Private equity professionals can meet with middle market intermediaries and investment bankers baring diverse transaction opportunities at stations during designated times throughout the conference.

Deal Connect meetings are available on a first-come, first-served basis to all eligible investment bankers and intermediaries during the scheduled times.

vFAIRS MOBILE APP

Scan the QR code to download the vFairs mobile app or
download the app from iOS Store or Google Play Store.

  1. Login using the email you registered with.
  2. Enter the 4 digit Verification Code sent to your email (if applicable).
  3. Select time slots you're available for meeting requests.
    • Go to Meetings, select the three dots in the corner, and select Your Availability. 
    • Do not select time slots of sessions you are attending or speaking at.
  4. Edit your profile to select your meeting interests.
  5. Use the Attendee Directory to search and send meeting requests.
    • Click the filter in the corner to search for Deal Connect Table Hosts to request Deal Connect Meetings or use it to search for general 1:1 Meetings. 
  6. Respond to Meeting Requests under Meetings.

DESKTOP MEETING HUB

  1. Visit the Desktop Meeting Hub(Use Chrome or Firefox; Not Safari)
  2. Login using the email you registered with.
  3. Edit your profile to select your meeting interests.
  4. Follow the prompts on the Home page.
    • Add sessions to your schedule.
    • Select time slots you're available for meeting requests in My Meetings & Availability.
      • Do not select time slots of sessions you are attending or speaking at.
    • Use the Attendee Directory to search and send meeting requests. 
      • Apply the filters to search for Deal Connect Table Hosts to request Deal Connect Meetings or use it to search for general 1:1 Meetings.
  5. Respond to Meeting Requests in My Meetings & Availability.

IMPORTANT: When a meeting is requested, that time slot will be held on your calendar until you respond by either accepting or declining. You will only receive one request for each time slot to prevent double bookings

You can check the status of your meeting requests in the Desktop Meeting Hub online or in the vFairs event mobile app.

DESKTOP:

  1. Under My Meetings & Availability, select Bookings to review meeting requests.
  2. Bookings will list all meeting requests you have drafted, sent or received, whether they are confirmed, pending or rejected.
    • NOTE: Under Bookings, you will see meetings denoted as one of the following statuses:
      • Organizer = Meeting requests you sent to others. You are the organizer. You must open the details to see the response status.
      • Pending = Meeting requests you have received from others that are waiting for a response from you. You will see an option to Accept or Reject.
      • Rejected = Meetings that you rejected.
      • Draft = Incomplete drafted meeting requests.
  3. If you are the Organizer, open the meeting details to check if the status is AcceptedPending, or Rejected
    • IMPORTANTYour meeting requests marked with Organizer will not show the meeting status. You must open the meeting details to check the participant response.

VFAIRS MOBILE EVENT APP:

  1. Under Meetings in the app, select All at the top to review meeting requests.
  2. All will list all meeting requests you have drafted, sent or received, whether they are confirmed, pending or rejected.
    • NOTE: Under All, you will see meetings denoted as one of the following statuses:
      • Organizer = Meeting requests you sent to others. You are the organizer. Open the meeting details to see the response status.
      • Accepted = Meeting requests you have accepted from others. 
      • Pending = Meeting requests you have received from others that are waiting for a response from you.
      • Rejected = Meetings that you rejected.
      • Draft = Incomplete drafted meeting requests.
  3. If you are the Organizer, open the meeting details to check if the status is AcceptedPending, or Rejected
    • IMPORTANTYour meeting requests marked with Organizer will not show the meeting status. You must open the meeting details to check the participant response.

 

I SEE THE MEETING STATUS. WHAT DO I DO NEXT? 

In the Desktop and in the App, 

  1. If Rejected due to Schedule Conflicts: Do not delete the request. If an alternate time is not listed in the reason or if the slot is unavailable, direct chat with attendee to find available times if needed. Edit the meeting details to select an alternate time and click Update.  
  2. If a Meeting is Rejectedyou must delete the meeting from your calendar by selecting the trash can icon in the top right of the meeting details pop-up.
    • IMPORTANTDeleting the meeting from your calendar will free up that time slot so others can see that you are available to meet. It will also remove the rejected request from the invitee's Meetings Requests.
  3. If Pending,
    • In the Desktop Meeting Hub:
      • Go to Attendee Directory to search for their name.
      • Click on the attendee profile and send a direct chat message or a quick email reminder to the invitee. 
    • In the Mobile App:
      • Click on the attendee profile and send a direct chat message or a quick email reminder to the invitee. 
  4. If Accepted,
    • In the Desktop Meeting Hub:
      • Select the download arrow in the top right of the Appointment Widget to export the meeting details in a .csv to import into your personal calendar.
    • In the Mobile App:
      • Select the Add to Calendar icon on the meeting request to import into your personal calendar. (The icon is under the meeting status.)
        (NOTE: Participant info and description will not be transferred. Be sure to copy and paste missing info into your personal calendar.)
